Tony Blair came into office saying he wasn’t going to “turn back the clock” or “roll back the tide”. After a decade of Labour ruling the UK, the clock has been turned back, the tide has been rolled back.

Too many of Blair’s people are really “old Labour” and have reinvigorated the unions, the welfare state and the soft Marxism of English socialism. The people in power are doing well, but for the middle class and below, things are getting worse. Women are now living alone in higher numbers than they ever have - many more single mothers live in government sponsored housing with their illegitimate children. The crowded workforce is making professional advancement virtually impossible for native born Britons.

However, he is making the feminists happy. From the hiring of rank incompents such as Mo Mowland and the thousands of activist social workers, women light on experience but heavy on politics have dramatically increased their representation in government. All the feedback this blog gets from the UK is extremely pessimistic. Native Britons are anxious to see the Muslims rise and take power, it will finally break the feminists but it will also destroy much of what made Britain great.

I’m still astonished that British voters opted for Blair. We all remember John Major - as ineffectual as he was - saying “Trust Labour?” with a tone that suggested “Are you people out of your fucking minds?!?” He should have pressed the point. Labour has been a disaster for Britain - but a huge victory for feminists and political grievance groups. Sad, really.
